| December 13 2001 Thursday When I was cleaning out the rabbit hutches I let all the rabbits escape. There was hell up when my father found out. He asked me how it had happened. I said that a fox must have had them. He said it must have been a bloody clever one because it had undone the latch on the front of the hutch, took out the rabbits, and fastened the latch again. I said perhaps it was Basil Brush. Then he made me go out looking for them. I didn't find any of them. What a shame. |
